Industry Tax Movers - Q1 2011

Some senior / experienced level tax advisers who have recently moved in the UK market:

Barclays Bank Plc has recently recruited Robert Page as Associate Tax Director – Forecasting, Planning & Reporting, based in London. Previous to this appointment, Robert was an International Tax Manager with Cadbury. He originally trained in tax with Ernst & Young.

WPP has recently recruited Richard Smith as International Tax Manager, based in their London HQ. Richard joins from Cadbury, where he was Tax Strategy Manager.

International real estate group Hines has recently hired Alan Nicholson into their EMEA tax function, based in London. Alan joins from Ernst & Young, where he was a Tax Manager in their real estate tax team.

Bank of New York Mellon has recently recruited Khawar Shafi as Corporate Tax Manager, based in London. Khawar was previously AVP-Tax with Swiss Re in London.
